Bought this for some of the features such as Blu-Ray. Works awesome, look, love the setup and ease of use. Because this unit I'll probably cancel my cable subscription. It works with Netflix, YouTube, Clicker (minor) and many others. In the fall (today 09/06/10) Hulu Plus will work with him and I'm guessing if Google TV is available, will work with him. You will receive notification of software updates when you are online with the device and area breeze to complete.

Out of the box was easy to configure and use. I bought an HDMI cable to go with him for about $ 9, I have a download instant Netflix film within 20 minutes of opening the box. The picture quality is amazing compared to my old DVD / VHS combo and the DVD I look better, I think, because of up-conversion function.

I have a Sony TV as well and if Blu-Ray is over, the TV and automatically selectthe correct input on your TV for use. The load times can be slow sometimes when you turn, putting in windows or connect to services like Netflix. This can mainly through the selection of options can be avoided, a fast-on feature.

All-in-all, a network of shops, all worth the price below $ 200.

As a side note, the option PlayStation / Xbox is tempting, but then much more than the purchase pulled receive the device, but few people know thatwent down this road, but to enjoy the look of the game, and (only with lighter wallets).

I love this Toshiba HD-A3 DVD Player. I also have the Toshiba HD-A2 DVD Player and both have excellent sound and picture for a resonable cost. I purchased manufacturer refurbished and have been very happy. I was able to upconvert my standard DVD’s to HD as well as purchase the HD-DVD Format DVD’s that have been discontinued and are selling for great prices! Blu-Ray Upconverts as well but at a really high price for the hardware & Blu-Ray DVD’s are too Expensive! I will not be taking the BLU-RAY leap. The Toshiba HD-DVD Player IS MY TRANSITION CHOICE…..Real 3-D TV is here & 3-D DVD Players are right around the corner. Before you can blink twice they will be affordable for every budget. Real 3-D will be my next choice for upgrades in my TV & DVD PLAYER’s….I am skipping Blu-Ray.
